Complex care - Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI)
At Indiana Healthcare Services, our Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI) service provides safe, compassionate and clinically governed care in the comfort of your own home.
We support adults and children with a wide range of complex health and care needs, including physical health conditions, mental health needs, learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions.
Our approach is person-centred and designed around each individual’s needs, abilities, preferences and goals. We work collaboratively with individuals, families and healthcare professionals to provide safe, consistent and responsive support.
What is TDDI?
Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI) is a regulated healthcare activity that enables appropriate clinical interventions and treatment to be delivered in a person’s home under suitable clinical supervision and governance.
At Indiana Healthcare Services, our care is delivered in accordance with individual care plans, assessed needs, clinical requirements, staff competencies and relevant professional and regulatory standards.
Our aim is to enable people to receive appropriate care and support at home wherever this is safe and suitable, while promoting dignity, independence and quality of life.

Supporting People with Complex and Multiple Needs
Some individuals require support across several areas of their health and wellbeing. For example, a person may have a learning disability alongside epilepsy, autism, mental health needs or complex physical healthcare requirements.
Indiana Healthcare Services takes a holistic approach to these situations, ensuring that support is coordinated around the whole person rather than individual conditions.
We work with families, healthcare professionals, social care teams and other relevant services to help provide consistent and coordinated care.
